During the Second World War, the standard issue U.S. military undershirt came in three forms: a sleeveless cotton tank for summer wear, a long-sleeved wool-cotton blend for winter rotation, and an all-purpose short-sleeved cotton tee for everything in between. As a daily-wear garment, the undershirt had to take repeated laundering without losing shape or hand.

This reproduction is knitted from soft 20-count combed cotton yarn, then finished with twin-needle stitching at the shoulders, sleeves and hem for comfort and lasting wear. The period-correct packaging deliberately echoes the look of the original government-issue carton.
